The Student Libraries’ Advisory Council (SLAC) serves as a communication channel between the University Libraries and the undergraduate and graduate student body. It provides a forum for students to express their needs regarding Libraries’ services and resources. It also serves as a sounding board for proposed changes in Libraries’ policies, procedures and services that affect students.

Jonathan Shectman will be joining the UNCG Historical Society and the UNCG Student Libraries' Advisory Council to discuss his new book, which focuses in part on events that took place in Guilford County regarding the Underground Railroad.
