SLAC will be meeting tomorrow at noon in Jackson Library room 974. We'll be going over the Adopt-A-Floor program, CAP affilitation, and possible event ideas.
In the meantime, you can check out our display for SLAC located near the reference desk.
The Student Libraries’ Advisory Council (SLAC) serves as a communication channel between the University Libraries and the undergraduate and graduate student body. It provides a forum for students to express their needs regarding Libraries’ services and resources. It also serves as a sounding board for proposed changes in Libraries’ policies, procedures and services that affect students.

We have had four groups sign up to adopt a floor in Jackson Library so far, and the application has only been up for a few weeks! This is great news. Congratulations to SLAC, the UNCG Historical Society, Theta Delta Chi, and Ratio Christi for being the first to sign up.
